Meet the team

Nigel EnglandOwner

Nigel established the business in 1990. Prior to that Nigel and his brother Martin had run the family farming business for a number of years. Through their agricultural contracting business (England Brothers) Nigel spotted the emerging opportunities in the environmental market securing the opportunity to manage Welsh Waters sewage sludge to land. In 1992 Nigel expanded further by securing the first of a succession of contracts with UK paper mills.

By 1996 the business moved 80% of the UKs paper mill sludge to land. Indeed Nigel actually wrote the UK Code of Practice, still used widely today, that established best practice in this area. In 2002 Nigel was one of the forerunners in recognising how important recycling was going to become. Siteserv Ltd was formed to capture the South Wales market. Between 2002 and 2010 Siteserv grew to become South Wales largest independent waste management company.
